We were supposed to be decorating our tree last night, but we had a little mishap. This being our first year in London we wondered how on earth we were going to get a large tree back to our house given the size of our car. We began asking around sometime in October as Josh and I are big Christmas people! We quickly learned that, like most things these days, people get their trees delivered! What a novel idea, so Thursday was the big day. Josh and our guests were touring, the girls were at school and Lilly and I were home cooking for Thanksgiving when the tree arrived. So yesterday evening when it was time to put it up and decorate we cut the binding on the tree and discovered this.
A Charlie Brown Christmas Tree indeed!!
It was LITERALLY the ugliest tree I have ever seen, to the point that I called the company and said, "we have GOT to have a new tree!!" They were actually quite kind and after Josh worked his magic they agreed to drop off another hand picked tree today. So tonight we decorated.
It still was by no means a good looking tree, but we made it work.
